Registration Office
The Registration Office is open from 8:00 am till
3:00 pm daily, Monday to Friday. You may contact
the office by telephone, fax or email to make
an appointment to discuss the requirements for
the registration of a prospective student.
General Requirements
- Completed Registration Form (provided by the
SZIA HR Office)
- Completed Medical Form (provided by the SZIA
HR Office) as per Pediatrician's physical examination
of the child
- 6 passport-size photographs of the prospective
student
- Copy of valid passport/ birth certificate
- Report cards of the 2 previous academic years
- Assessments for Nursery, KG-1 and KG-2/ Written
Entrance Tests for Grades 1-12
- Personal Interview with the prospective student
- Note: It is the right of
SZIA to secure a behaviour and academic report,
on a confidential basis, from the prospective
student's previous school
- Parents who wish to register their children
at SZIA are required to sign their agreement
with the rules and regulations of the Academy

- Preschool to Grade 3
- Subject to interview with the Head of
Section and the Home Room teacher.
- Grade 4 to Grade 9

- Creative Thinking
- Critical Thinking (All skills
according to international standards
respective of age level)
- Mathematics
- General important skills according
to international standards respective

- Interview
- Grade 10
- IGCSE O-Level and GCE tests in subjects
attended
- At least 60% IGCSE/O-Level content completed
- Grade 11
- Cleared five subjects of IGCSE/GCSE and
should have secured Grade B in at least
three subjects
- Test of general skills in English
- For those who are not coming from the
Cambridge International (CIE) system, they
have to provide a secondary school diploma/matriculation
certificate and has to have secured at least
a 60% score (in each) of at least five subjects.
- Grade 12
- AS result minimum grade C in all subjects
(2 or 3) (or)
- At least 60% of A-Level content completed.
- For those who are not coming from the
Cambridge International (CIE) system, they
have to provide a secondary school diploma/certificate
and has to have secured at least a 60% score
(in each) of at least
five Grade/Class 11 subjects.
English Language Proficiency
In order for students to fully participate in
the school's instructional programmes, students
are required to have English language proficiency.
Students may be admitted without such proficiency
provided they satisfy all other placed regulations
and would then be enrolled in the ESL (English
as A Second Language) programme. |
