Every year, the Ministry of Presidential Affairs in Abu Dhabi sponsor an all-expenses paid tour of the United Arab Emirates for SZIA.  Each year, a group of approximately 25 ‘high-achiever’ students receive the opportunity to experience the trip of a lifetime to the U.A.E.

This year, and for the first time in the seven years that the Academy has been open, SZIA teaching faculty members and administrative staff members availed this golden opportunity.  The group of 25 teachers and Administrators traveled all over the glorious United Arab Emirates and were treated with unbelievable hospitality and protocol wherever they went.  In addition to the superb accommodation and very fine dining had at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (the home base for the entire trip), the many varied and exciting sites, activities and visits made combined to make this year’s trip a truly unforgettable experience for each of the travelers. 

Their excursions included sites such as the Emirates Palace, the Abu Dhabi Educational Council, the Women’s Council, the Burj-ul-Arab, the Burj-ul-Khalifa, the Ministry of Education, the Al-Mawahab Model School.  For recreation there were many outings to the beaches, a full tour of Dubai, a sand safari trip, a visit to Heritage Village, not to mention numerous shopping expeditions to the many famous malls in the U.A.E.

None of this would have been possible without the gracious sanctioning given by H.H. Sheikh Mansour and every single one of our teachers and administrative staff members feel forever indebted to His Highness for giving them a trip of a lifetime and memories that will last forever!
